Attività di ricerca

Studio delle funzioni ecologico-ambientali delle colture da biomassa a destinazione energetica (prevalentemente salice, pioppo ed eucalipto) con particolare riferimento all’impiego di specie arboree a ciclo breve per il recupero di reflui di origine urbana e agricola ed altre forme di fitodepurazione.

Research interests

My research focuses mainly on environmental applications of short-rotation woody crops (SRWC). The aim of my work is to investigate the sustainability of SRWC crops as a multifunctional system for energy biomass production and other environmental purposes (e.g. phytoremediation).
